Mikoto X Hanai, Opinions? Come on in and discuss! Options

On seeing the mess that yours truly have brought to the MFC before (by starting all the talks about Mikoto's sexiness), I have decided to go for a new path, and this goes for the other members of this fan club as well!

Now, every single one here knows that I'm a BIG fan of Mikoto X Hanai shipping. However, many have tried to tell me that a romantic relationship between them is not possible, 'cos they are best of friends. But because people are entitled to their opinions, I told them that relationships between childhood friends can be possible! O, come on, there is a couple I know of who were childhood friends! So, Mikoto X Hanai pairing is not absurd in my opinion. So, any opinions on this pairing? Anyone?

Anyway, heres what I think:
Miko-chin is not a typical woman. I don't mean by this that there arent other girls like her just that she is not the picture most people form when they think of what an average girl is like. Um, picture is probably the wromg word here since Im talking about her personality not her looks. Sorry, I'm getting off track here.

Anyway, my point is that Miko-chin's personality is not like how someone would picture an average girls personality. And yes this does relate to Hanai so just hold on a minute I'm getting there.

I think Miko-chan tries to act masculine rather than feminine most of the time but Hanai can see that she has a feminine side even tho she usually hides it. But underneath she really is feminine and needs someone who can see it so Hanai makes a good match with her.

OK, basically what you mentioned in your post is true, soldier! And because the both of them grew up together, and they know one another very well, one of the factors of why they should be a pair!

Anyway, you made me think of another reason why Miko-chin and Hanai would be a good pair. I mentioned before about how Hanai knows parts of Miko-chin that lots of other people don't know and the same is true of Miko-chin. She knows about things in Hanai that probly no one else does like the flute incident that gives a name to their pair. Theyre sorta similar in that way because both of them are hiding something they think is a weakness but the other person is the only one who knows about it.

Haha... actually I am rooting for Mikoto x Asou pairing up. Kinda sad when they broke up.

Back to the topic... I think Mikoto x Hanai will not happen, unless Hanai is willing to give up Yakumo for good. And I think Mikoto will have a love rival too. I can't remember her name though... the gal with a megane too... Hehe relationship between 2 childhood friends dun always blossom too.. Yeah juz my one cent's worth opinion

Well, other opinions are always welcomed. I don't mind, since that was what this thread was created for. Anyways, Kamiro, you mentioned about childhood friends and love rivals reminds me of an Indonesian love story called "Heart". O well, that was out of topic. Now, back on track. Well, I admit that Mikoto and Asou looks good together, but I think Asou is kinda somber in personality, from my point of view. But I'm not countering your opinions, girl.

Well it seems KJ is also for Mikoto x Hanai or his editor in real life LOL! Since KJ 1st paired Asou to Mikoto, but there was somthing about the pairing the editor didn't like so KJ might be pushing with Mikoto x Hanai from this point with a little twist with the other Hanai factions imho.

Well, they're childhood friends. Plus at first Miko-chin protected and lifted up Hanai when he was little, but now, it's obvious that Hanai can fend for himself.

I think that maybe a Miko-chin and Hanai couple would be nice. And it'd be even more cooler if like Hanai like did something that saved Miko-chin's life (not drowning...even though that's important), but something that is like really seriously viewed in the anime. Like a little debt-paying.

Hanai: "Remember when we were little? How you stood next to me?"

well in the PS2 game when you are using Mikoto and you're drowning when you call for help when you pick Hanai there is this scene where she's on Hanai's arms, though all the guys namely Harima and Imadori will also save the D girl of Sukuran if you call for Harima or either Imadori. There also some rumors circulating that she's now even bigger than D's!!! But Iam not sure about this...

Nah i support the idea of Mikota and Hanai. It's just that I have nothing to argue about.

Bottom line... Mikoto x Hanai pairing is better than Asou+Mikoto

There should be, kenjiharima! Otherwise, what will Sukuran be if there are no Miko-chin storylines? Even if Kobayashi Jin does not have any storylines for her just yet, she'll still continue to exist!

Asou is not very energetic most of the time but Hanai is except when hes depressed about Yakumo and Miko-chin is more like Hanai so I think its a better fit.
Asou is a pretty minor character compared to Hanai and we know much more about Hanai and his personality than Asou. Since Miko-chin is a major character too it might be hard for a relationsip to work in the story. But they could always give more development to Asou so this might not be a good reason.
Liek other people have said Hanai and Miko-chin have a long history but it Asou and Miko-chan hardly know the other person even though they've been on dates together.
Even tho he seems obsessed about Yakumo Hanai obviously has strong feelings about Miko-chin. They might just be of frienship but that can always turn into something more. Plus the recent chapters show Miko-chin has given serious thought to her future with Hanai so she probably has feelings beyond friendship for him too.

I liked the pairing at the beginning of the series, then I liked Mikoto being with Asou more. Now, Chapter 219 has made me a supporter of Mikoto being with Hanai again.
