For fully line-by-line translation every week... well, truly I am going to start reading Full Metal Panic novel (tsuduku on my own) by myself. If Harima stays as 'Employee' for a long time, I guess a new name for the pair would pop-up sooner or later.... POLL!(just kidding)

It just occured to me that after all the questioning by Eri, she didn't even ask him HIS NAME! Of course, he can't use 'Hario' because Eri knows that that's what Tae-sensei calls him. But then again, he doesn't know that she knows that.

I'm guessing that Tenma would find out that Employee=Harima, and then accuse him of two-timing with Eri behind Yakumo. Harima's world shatters once again, and he goes on another 'journey' or something similar. Just a guess.

My prediction. Harima won't finish his manga, but Yakumo will find his manga in the Tsukamto residence and finish it for him. Maybe we'll see imouto-san's feelings and ideas on paper in how she closes the manga.

#153: High Society


Tenma figures that Eri's getting omiai and that she's been mistaken for Eri, so she's going to ruin it as much as possible.

Harima and Eri get to Eri's place, they split up. Eri goes to get changed, while Harima gets mistaken as the actual guy who's coming to omiai. He goes to the omiai, and sees it's Tenma, and forgets everything about Eri and actually tries to do it seriously so he could 'get married' with Tenma.

Eri has mother-daughter talk with her mom. She was about to refuse the omiai.

Tenma then tries to ruin the omiai by spilling tea onto Harima, Harima cleans his hair up, and Tenma notices that it might be Harima, so she puts the hairband and sunglasses on Harima. Just then, Eri comes in, and sees it's Harima, so she does a drop kick on Harima.

At that moment, Nakamura receives message that the omiai has been called off.

I'm probably just going to go mostly for rough summaries, unless there's something that warrants a detailed look. For example, this week's chapter is pretty straightforward, so I'm not bother with that.

(あれ？じゃあ何でマサル君は私をお見合いに？)

(こうなったらエリちゃんの影武者になるしかないわっ！！こんなお見合い断固拒否よっ！！)
常識を斜めに飛び越えて一気に真実に達した天満、一瞬烏丸君とのお見合いを夢想しつつもお見合い阻止を決意する。

「ラッキーだわ、じゃあこうしましょう」
と播磨に提案する。
「あなたには私の相手を演じてもらって、話を合わせてこのお見合いを破談にして下さい」

「着替えは隣りにあります。後は会場で会いましょう」

そして別れる二人。

「ヤレヤレ、俺も人が良すぎるぜ」
スーツに着替えた播磨。ダルそうにネクタイを緩めつつも

と会場に向かう。

松乃間、と書かれた和室の障子を開ける播磨。
「さすがにお嬢はまだ…」

中には和服で正装した天満が座っていた。

「始めまして！！婚姻届持参で参りました！！ささ始めましょう！！」

母親が目線を移すと、冬の空を翔ける二羽の鳥が。池の中には鯉の姿が。

「…時の惜しまれる季節ですね。凍る命と冴えた風に急かされて、とり残されないようにただひたすら…」

「あの……愛理さん…あなたは…今回のお話をどう思って…？」
またまた松乃間にて。今度は播磨からの質問が飛ぶ。

「ルーブキュービックを少々！毎日やってます！！」

ここで天満、机に出されたお茶菓子をガサガサと漁ったかと思うとヒョヒョイとつまみパクパクと食べ始め、
そのままムグモグと頬張りながら、空の包み紙を元の状態に、まるで食べてないかのようにカモフラージュし始める。

「…………」
(ふふふふふどうかしら？こんなガサツな女は嫌でしょ！！さあハッ・ダ・ン！ハッ・ダ・ン！！)
狙って嫌われようとした天満、こちらは狙っていない食べカスまで口の周りに残しつつ
「私いっつもこんなですのよ、うほほほ。だから破談、破談ばっかりで……」
とコロコロ笑う。が…
「結婚してください！！僕が絶対幸せにします！！」
微動だにせずプロポーズしてしまう播磨･･･
場面は再び庭園へ。
「愛理さん…どうなん？もし愛理さんが嫌やったら…」
「大丈夫よ母様、私なら大丈夫…」

思い浮かぶのは美琴・天満・晶の姿。

「……そう、じゃあこのまま進めて……」

何気ない日常の１コマが、次々と沢近の脳裏に浮かび上がる。

「……母様」
「やっぱり私まだ皆と一緒に居たい！」
満面の笑みを浮かべた沢近。

「愛理さん！」
「ごめんね母様、私行かなきゃ！」
笑顔で手を振り駆け出す沢近。
そして松乃間では…播磨の頭に天満がお茶をひっくり返していた。
「ごめんなさい、つい手がすべって…」
頭からぐっしょり濡れてしまった播磨。

(最後の手段よ～！ここまですればいいかげん怒って…)

「いや、ちょーど前髪が邪魔だった所です。これでアナタがよく見える！」
まるで動ぜずグイっとオールバックに髪型を戻す播磨。
「！」

(て、手強～～いっ！！ゴメンエリちゃん、私負けちゃうかも…)
うぬぬと拳を握っていた天満だが…
「………あれ？」

「あの目をつぶってもらえます？」
「なっ！？い…いいですとも！！」
なにを勘違いしたのか頬を染めつつ目を瞑った播磨に、
どこからか取り出したサングラス＆カチューシャを付ける天満。
「？？なんスか…？」

そこへパタパタと駆け込んできた沢近。吹っ切れたような笑顔を浮かべつつ
「従業員さん！もういいわ私…！」

そこには驚いたような表情で播磨を見つめる天満と、こちらに振り向いた播磨の姿が…

ゴッ！！！

大ゴマ一杯を使ってドロップキックをかます沢近と、

「フム……見合いはキャンセル。かしこまりました」
まだ美琴の部屋に居たナカムラと、

「……………伊織、トロは？」
「ナーーー」
天満の帰りを正座で待つ八雲で締め。

That is in fact correct. That's another point that could be used later on...the "Mr. Omiai"
